Good morning everyone! We are going to Pennsylvania in August! My husband has gotten in a woodworking class that is taught by JD Lohr. His class is in Schwenksville, PA. He recommends hotels in Pottstown and we are close to Valley Forge. Does anyone out there live in that area? Can you suggest a place to stay and sites to see? We went to Lancaster in 2006 and had a great time but this time my husband will be in class all day long for 6 days. My 14 yr. old son and I will be on our own. I will bring my sewing machine and sew in the hotel/motel. I can't be without it for long you know. But, I would like to hear from someone in that area with info to share. Thanks.

Here is a picture of a used sewing machine I bought just before the holidays. I love it! It has a lot of quilting features on it and it has a larger bed area for quilting. I am enjoying piecing on it. I can make and accurate 1/4 inch stitch because I can move my needle over slightly to the left or right. Don't get me wrong, I could quilt just fine without this machine but the inconvenience it provides is helpful.

Today we are going to Chuck E. Cheese with some other homeschoolers for a day out. I will also get some much needed shopping done while I am out. Are you like me? I hate shopping, even fabric shopping. I don't know what it is about it but I just can't stand to go. Oh well, sometimes you've got to bite the bullet and do it. My daughter loves-loves-loves to shop. Hey maybe that's where all my likeness for shopping went. Yeah, that's it, I gave it all to her. It's not my fault I like to share. That's all folks, have a great quilty day!

Quilt til your arm falls off...
